Whereas many 3D platformers allow the player to fly for limited amounts of time, in certain areas of the game, or with restrictions on height, Sulphur Nimbus has unrestricted flight for the vast majority of the game. This presented a unique set of game design challenges, since most traditional platforming obstacles could be easily circumvented by the player. If you are interested in physics-based gameplay that breaks new ground, then this game was made for you.

The game was funded on Kickstarter in 2016, and is available on itch.io. The original soundtrack is available on bandcamp and as a YouTube Playlist. The game also has a Discord server.
